GROW Nebraska is a 501(c) 3 non-profit Entrepreneurial Service Organization for Nebraska entrepreneurial businesses. It was established in 1998 under the Central Plains Foundation as a statewide outreach program. Headquartered in the Central Plains Development Center in Holbrook, Nebraska, this program focuses on building successful Nebraska businesses one at a time. In 1995, Central Plains Foundation, Inc. received a USDA Rural Development Grant to create a business plan and solidify objectives. After significant research into similar state-based programs and hosting a showcase event in November 1996, the GROW Nebraska™ Program officially began accepting members in 1998 and created the first annual GROW Nebraska™ Market. The initial membership included 61 businesses and five services. It currently has over 300 members and offers over 20 services.

MCC's Entrepreneurship program is one of the fastest growing programs on campus and is taught in a REAL mode - generally no tests. Work done in any of 6 regularly offered courses that run both on campus and online are specifically designed to mirror REAL tasks that REAL entrepreneurs either need to do or know about. Courses attract both those interested in new startup planning AND those already actively engaged in business seeking knowledge and assistance.

People chose to work with me because I bring integrity, trustfulness and clarity to areas that impact their finances and more importantly, their life. I start by listening to my clients to determine where they are today and where they want to be in the future. Then, together we create a focused plan that is easy to implement and positions them reach their goals and care for what matters most to them. The benefit to my clients is the feeling of confidence. Because they have taken the necessary steps to be prepared for the future, they can enjoy the present, instead of wondering and worrying if things will be okay as life changes.

Omaha is a friendly place to live, work and shop, a place where the neighbors and local merchants knew each other by name. Folks don't have to travel far to find the things they need, and we'd like to keep it that way.
Time and progress have brought freeway access to cookie-cutter chain stores, where we often become anonymous faces in the crowd. One thing still remains true, it's still a friendly place to live, work and shop. Businesses need to encourage and remind the public of the many reasons buying local helps to keep our lifestyle healthy and vibrant here in Omaha.

As a credit union, we're a not-for-profit financial cooperative that is owned by its members, not by for-profit shareholders. Our Board of Directors consists of Credit Union volunteers, elected by their fellow Credit Union members, to direct the operations of the Credit Union. All our profits are returned to the membership in the form of enhanced services, lower fees and interest rates on loans and higher returns on savings and investments.
